Send To Desktop (create shortcut) command does nothing

When you right-click a file and choose "Desktop (create shortcut) option in the "Send To" menu, nothing happens or you receive an error message.

Resolution

Click Start, Run and type:
REGSVR32 SENDMAIL.DLL
Restart Windows.
